Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 23, 2026

Your privacy is our highest priority. Brainrot is designed to be a fully offline, local-first productivity tool. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on external servers.

1Data Processing & Storage

Brainrot accesses a limited set of device data to power its core features. Everything stays on your device.

📱

Installed Applications

We query the list of installed applications on your device solely to display them in the rules setup screen. This list is processed entirely on-device and is never transmitted.

📈

Usage Statistics

We access app usage statistics to track your daily screen time and display analytics on your dashboard. This data remains on your local storage only.

🛡

Accessibility Service API

We use the Accessibility API to detect in real-time when a blocked app is in the foreground. No keystrokes, screen contents, or form inputs are ever read, recorded, or transmitted.

2No Server Transmission

Brainrot has no backend servers. There are no analytics SDKs, no crash reporters, no third-party tracking libraries. All configuration settings, rules, and usage logs are stored locally on your device and are cleared if you clear the app's data or uninstall the app.

3Permissions Control

You are always in control. You can revoke any permission — Accessibility, Usage Stats, or Overlay — at any time through your Android System Settings. The app will gracefully degrade its functionality when permissions are revoked.
